Although our financial report is always sent free to anyone requesting a copy, certain states require us to advise you that a copy of our financial report is available from them.
United Charitable, Inc. is a Virginia nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower others to give. We achieve this mission by accepting and supporting a variety of charitable projects that may be small, new, experimental, or incubating projects that need administrative and financial management. These projects may have a local, national, or global focus.
Donations are very much appreciated and are tax-deductible as a charitable contribution to the fullest extent allowed by law. United Charitable is registered to solicit charitable contributions in the states that require registration. Registration with a state agency does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by that state. Financial and registration information for many states may be obtained directly from the applicable state agency, and is also available from United Charitable on request.
United Charitable is registered in more than 40 states that require charitable solicitation registration, including Florida, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia. Notice to vendors, contractors, and lenders
Only specifically authorized employees of United Charitable have power to commit United Charitable to any business transaction or contract. The programs at United Charitable do not have independent legal status. They are internal programs of United Charitable formed to carry out the many charitable, religious, and educational projects of United Charitable. The programs are not agents of United Charitable and have no power to bind it. The programs of United Charitable do not have officers, directors, or employees. Only United Charitable has officers, directors, and employees.
Accordingly, no program at United Charitable has the power or capacity to enter into any business transaction or contract. Only United Charitable, as a nonprofit corporation, has such power, which is exercised only by and through its specifically authorized employees.
Therefore, the only obligations which United Charitable recognizes as binding on it are those which result from the acts of its duly authorized employees. We are pleased to identify them upon request.
Please be advised that if you provide goods or services, advance credit, or make a loan to a program at United Charitable, you accept the risk that United Charitable will disavow any responsibility for either the invoice or loan.
